(More customer reviews)This mouse fits the PCMIA slot on the older and newer laptops, one of the reviewers said it did not "fit" their laptop, One test to see if you have the right slot, is to gently slide a credit card into the slot, it should easily slide most the way in, if it stops halfway you have a Express Card slot (yes, you can get a mouse for it)
I have used this mouse in a Dell d530 and in a HP 6715b laptops running XP Pro with no problems, it actually is smoother running through the Dell, maybe because the Dell has a newer button type USB BlueTooth radio? not sure, but the performance is good through the HP as well. My roommate liked it so much that he bought one for his unused PCMIA slot on his Dell, working with no problems.
A couple of cons I have are, mine will lose their charge if left in a powered-off laptop for more than a week and when you lift it up to reposition, the courser moves to the top of the screen. This only happens in the HP, the laptop it was actually designed for???
