After getting it home, I popped the batteries into both units, and away we went. This is my first external keyboard (for a laptop), so I have no base for comparison, but I'm very satisfied.
Running on Windows XP SP3, everything works fine. The mouse tracks flawlessly (red LED optical) and the keyboard is more than functional. I have been typing on a 12" Dell 700m for 4+ years now, so I don't remember what a "real" keyboard should feel like.
For the price, it can't be beat. It doesn't have a "function" key, but that is a laptop/ minimal layout restricted key, so i didn't expect.
