Within the last year I have bought this M110 Logitech mouse and a Logitech keyboard. Both were bought on separate occasions. Each one was covered with a strong-smelling chemical that triggered allergic reactions. I've got asthma -- the chemicals on this mouse did not disappear -- they continued to aggravate my asthma. The chemical coating on this mouse gives my hands a burning feeling.
The chemical has never gone away.
I have never had this problem with Logitech products before. I was a lifetime buyer of Logitech products. Both this mouse and the Logitech keyboard work fine, if you don't mind typing with thick plastic covers made from Ziploc bags taped over them. I don't think most of us want to do that.
I contacted Logitech, which courteously offered me a refund. I told them I did not want a refund. I wanted an internal investigation of whoever is making their mice and keyboards.
